Dear Fig,

It's been a long time coming, and I'm sure you already know about how long I've been holding onto this vessel, but to ensure your safety and knowledge, I'm writing to you anyway. I need you to remember this letter. Keep it somewhere safe for me. I will be leaving for the Campbell City Library on January 6th, 2025. If I'm not mistaken you should be getting this letter around a month before my departure. I am not sure when I will return or if I will return at all, but I do know for sure that no matter what happens I won't be gone for good. This, along with any other conversations we may have in the immediate future will be the last you'll see of me for a while at the very least.

As for mentioning "your safety", you'll see what I mean soon enough. My hope is that it hasn't already happened, and if it has, I want you to share your concerns in your own room. Amilya will see it. And if you can, check in on Daniel Rivers for me while I'm gone. He's been awfully busy, and I'm starting to think his work is taking a toll on his own mental health.

As for my reasoning for departure, it's about Amilya. Something happened between us not too long ago. Fo a while now I wanted things to stay private, but it's been getting harder and harder to reorganize. Her mind is in a constant state of change, and it's becoming parasitic for the both of us. We both know it. We've organized a plan to go somewhere no one will see, and go our seperate ways. She's outgrown me I feel... There's a good likelyhood I'll come back unharmed but if you know me, you'd know that if I were to put all my eggs in one basket, I'd be sure to watch the basket. If I don't return back anytime ever, Amilya will be with you from there on out.
